Performance in the European economy is faltering, but Poland's economy continues to grow. Offices continue to open up and relocations to the region are remain consistent. Izabella Kaus, Manager at At Home Warsaw, gives us an overview of news out of Warsaw.

  • The number of new dwelling transactions increased in 2011. At the same time, the number of available new properties increased markedly as new projects came onto the market and sales resumed on projects that had been delayed during the economic crisis.
  •  Poland has become a driver of growth in the CEE region. While the rest of Europe teeters towards another recession, Poland surges ahead.
  • Russian companies with high profits are targeting stakes in CEE companies, including Poland.
